Built by a school
I run EBT Academy. We train personal trainers in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, and online. That means lectures several evenings a week and practical sessions at weekends. It got messy. The schedule lived in a spreadsheet, the courses in another system and the reminders to every teacher in my own inbox. Zakarios is the system I wished I'd had.

Courses that participants finish
Text, video, audio and PDF in the same lesson, with a quiz after each section so participants can see what they know. Questions they got wrong come back until they stick. The course ends with an exam, and anyone who passes gets their certificate straight away. When you update the course, everyone sees the new version without losing what they've already done.
If your course material is already in a Word document, you don't need to start over. Upload it and the headings become modules and lessons. If you'd like help with quiz questions, Zakarios can suggest questions from your own text, and you choose which ones to keep.
Everyone knows where to be
Every course run has its own schedule, participant list and group chat for questions and announcements. Teachers take attendance on their phone, and participants get an email the day before, so nobody misses a session.

Prices in USD, shown per month when billed yearly. Monthly billing costs 20% more. An active learner is someone who has access to at least one course or course run. Students who have finished still count as long as they keep their access. If you set an end date, they stop counting automatically. AI suggestions are counted per lesson the AI reads, and the quota resets on the 1st of each month. Instructors are included without limit on every plan.
Before you book
What happens to the material we upload?
It is used to build your course, and for nothing else. The content belongs to you and is isolated from every other organisation on the platform. When the AI suggests questions, only the lesson text is sent to Claude via AWS within the EU. It isn't stored there, and it's never used to train models.
How good is the automatically generated course?
It becomes a draft that you build on. The structure follows the headings in your document, and every AI question shows the sentence it is based on — questions without support in the text are removed before you see them. Someone on your team reads it through, picks the questions and adds examples. It takes hours instead of weeks.
Which files can we upload?
Word documents (.docx) and HTML, as a file or pasted text. The course structure follows the headings in the document, video links become video blocks, and lists with the correct answer in bold become quizzes straight away. PDFs and presentations cannot be imported today.
What counts as an active learner?
Someone who has access to at least one course or belongs to an ongoing course run. This includes learners who have finished, as long as they still have access. Once their access has ended or they have been removed, they are no longer counted.
Can we move existing learners and courses?
Yes. The learner list is imported from a spreadsheet with a preview showing every row and any errors before anything is created. Course material is imported as documents that you can continue building from.
Where is the data stored?
The database and files are in Ireland, within the EU. AI suggestions are produced within the EU. Each organisation is isolated from every other organisation on the platform, and you receive a data processing agreement and a list of subprocessors.
How long does it take to get started?
A training provider with its material ready can be live in the same week. If you have existing learners and certificates to move, it takes longer. We help with that part on the Institute plan.
